What’s the best mac software for a 6 year old to learn French?

Question by Bubbalou: What’s the best mac software for a 6 year old to learn French?
My brother and his family just moved to France. Their oldest (a 6 year old) now suddenly finds himself in a French school and is having a tough time. I’m wondering if there isn’t some software that might help him get up to speed quicker. I’ve been looking at Rosetta Stone but wonder if there is a better alternative. Thanks!
Right now his main efforts in language acquisition are focused in teaching the neighborhood kids how to speak English.

To be honest, he’s best just going to school. He’s at the perfect age where he can become bilingual in a remarkably short amount of time. As long as you’re under 7, learning a language is easy stuff, and if he’s around it every day and has to speak it, he’ll be fluent soon enough. My friend moved here from Russia when she was 10 and spoke no English. She became fluent in 2 months just by going to school and managed to take the end of year exams and come out as one of the top students. She’s now 19 and studying for a degree in Biological Sciences.

The fastest and easiest freee way to learn French, from my experience, is to first talk with someone, chat, speak, etc.
Try to meet girls/boys on the net, and have chat, you can talk about anything and share your phantasms and feelings.
On the net, nobody knows u for real.
You can chat with a woman/man and study ,approve your knowledge.
Try the free links I’ll put for u in the source.
