If you’ve already designed a site, you can get hosting at a site like DreamHost.com (which I currently use).
The price is $69.00 a year after using a $50.00 coupon code which will give you 200 GB of space and almost 2 TB of bandwidth along with a free domain name (way more than you will ever need).

Each year, you just have to pay $30 bucks and that’s it. I have used them for my smaller clients on and off for YEARS. Err…not sure exactly what you are asking.
If you already have the site programmed, it is about $10 a year to register the domain and you can get a host for $15 a month if you don’t need anything weird for it.
If you need to program the site, that depends on what you have on it. The more you need to connect it to databases and such, the more it is going to cost. It could be anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand.
