Q&A: How do i retrieve writing from the internet after the internet died?

Question by cks_the_great: How do i retrieve writing from the internet after the internet died?
Ok, so I know the question is confusing, but here’s what happened:

I was writing a blog on myspace and my internet died before I could post it. How do I get all of the writing that I was about to post? It had some important stuff, and rewriting it isn’t an option. Is there any way one of my toolbars or something saved the work while I was writing it?

Not really, but next time you can copy everything into a textword document and save it. Sometimes if you lose connection, you can hit the back button and all your text will still be there, so you can copy and save it.

if you are using the firefox browser there is a chance by retrieving the session if not,god help you.

Don’t be stupid.
The text you wrote was stored in RAM and it was not posted.
RAM was cleared when you lost connection.
It is gone.

Sorry but I don’t know of anyway you could retrieve that Unless you right clicked on it and copied it so you can paste it on a word processor. I was dealing with that today so I would copy my writing before I post something. I do this because sometimes you sped alot of time writing something and different reasons you can lose it. So next time copy (highlight what you wrote and right click)what you write as you write to avoid losing it. If you do lose it you can simply paste it again.

sorry chief but you are out of luck.

yea, i dont think there is a way…

it’s gone

i know it’s one of the things i hate most about online apps.

but there is a way to win at this , save your draft often or set the app to do that .

and more importantly write your post in notepad or other word processor then paste in in your blog .just remeber to save that often too.

open office writer can be set to automatically save your drafts quite often.
