Q&A: How can I delete one of the two operating systems that are installed on the same Partition?

Question by Glenn Sciortino: How can I delete one of the two operating systems that are installed on the same Partition?
The two operating systems are Windows XP and Windows Neptune build 5111 (never released). I want to delete the Windows XP OS and leave the Neptune one there. I just need more space because the Hard disk is only about 4 GB. Help would be really appreciated. If there are any programs that can do this, please leave source.

They will be loaded into different directories. Open c:boot.ini – it will tell you which system is in which directory. Remove the boot.ini entry to XP and delete the directory structure it refers to.

YOU CANT DELETE any one operating system even if u take it to the admin who configured your computer so better format tat drive and install a single operatin system in each drive

You cannot I am afraid since they both use the “Windows” Folder and probably Documents anSettings too, so leave it as is, or do a clean install of WinXP again
