Question by Kal H: Is there a good way of mapping where you have already walked in a city?
I’d like to find some way, probably using GPS, of easily (without having to stop all the time to make waypoints) of mapping where I have already walked in the city I live in. Any suggestions?

Set up your GPS of kinetic data collection. This means it collects waypoints at intervals, so you can keep walking and it will pick it.

You can snap to roads and other linear features as well.

Use a wrist GPS unit like Athletes use. Garmin makes one that will record your journey as you do it. You can then use the data when you get home to see where you went walking with the computer mapping software that comes with the unit.
